Co-Founder & Music Director

Fernando is a musician, educator, and MBA who leads music programming at The Band Room. He teaches piano, guitar, voice, and ensemble classes, and brings people together through lessons, jams, rehearsals, and performances. His approach makes music accessible, collaborative, and joyful for musicians at every level.

Co-Founder & Director

Tamara leads The Band Room’s programs, community partnerships, communications, and day-to-day operations. With a Ph.D. in Education and a background in lifelong learning, she is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people of all ages can learn, connect, and feel that they belong through music.
